Leaders in the sustainable agriculture sector convened at the end of June in Portland, Oregon, for the Sustainable Food Lab’s “Operationalizing Sustainability in Supply Chains” summit. In this conversation, Greta Franklin, a program manager at Level Works, discusses farm labor, the “fear of the unknown” that companies face in addressing farm labor in their supply chains, and her own motivations for shifting from a corporate manufacturing role into human rights and environmental advocacy.
